EnergyAid, Inc. is taking advantage of a unique and lucrative opportunity in the booming solar power service market by providing repair and maintenance service to residential customers of large solar installers and asset managers (the B2B segment) and directly to homeowners that lack maintenance contracts with the installer (the B2C segment). The solar business in California, and other sunbelt states, continues to grow at a rapid pace, outstripping the solar installer’s ability to service their installs, thus they contract out significant business.
EnergyAid/s management has extensive experience in all phases of the solar industry and has leveraged existing relationships to quickly establish itself as a leader in servicing solar installations. The Role
EnergyAid is seeking an Accounting Administrator & Office Manager to standardize accounting processes, controls, and administration.
With guidance from the Controller, the candidate will document and execute daily and month-end accounting processes to ensure accurate financial data.
The role will also administer vendors, collections, applications, and licenses for the company to operate successfully.
While the role requires the candidate to satisfy several administrative, travel and bookkeeping tasks, there is an opportunity for more in-depth, accounting deliverables.
Additional deliverables could be Accounts Payable, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, and validating costs against contracts.

This is an opportunity for a self-motivated, highly organized individual capable of working independently and collaboratively on a breadth of tasks. This position will report to the Controller and requires excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization, including employees, vendors and management. Responsibilities:
Enter new vendors and customers in Salesforce and Quickbooks
Fill out applications and license requirements as needed
Assist in recording daily and monthly accounting transactions in Quickbooks
Assistance with monthly financial statements and management reports
Oversee processes and procedures to safeguard the company’s assets,
Review and authorize monthly bank and credit card charges
Invoice customers, manage collections, and pay bills
Input weekly payroll in ADP and generate associated reports
Book and approve travel and functions (as needed)
Assist implementation and improvement of internal controls and policies
Minimum Qualifications:
Some [or In process] college courses in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
Bachelor’s in Business or related field is valued, but not required
3+ years in an office administration, accounting, finance, or organizational role
Experience executing tasks and organizing deliverables
Previous experience accounting is valued, but not required,
Ability to identify transactions with errors or inefficiencies.
Experience working with Quick Books On-line or equivalent
Ability to prioritize, organize, manage time, and work independently to meet deadlines,
Ability to focus on small details and task lists
Must be thorough, thoughtful, and able to perform well in a fast-growing company,
