Work you'll do / Responsibilities

Deloitte is looking for looking for someone with the following capabilities:

Responsible for:

Provide leading practice options for business models and commercial frameworks for solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS);
Strong understanding of technical specifications required for battery storage
Experience working with BESS in the field either through project development or review
Understand battery and BESS market trends in technology, capital and operating costs, major suppliers, market applications, and regional developments
Analyze comparable BESS-large scale storage (LSS) pricing mechanisms and costs in leading countries to benchmark financial considerations for the project
Provide an analysis of capacity-energy payments, energy payments, or suitable mechanisms for BESS-LSS business models
Experience with modeling grid impacts from BESS a plus
Experience with US markets required, foreign markets a plus
Experience / understand of grid integration / VRE integration + BESS a plus

Qualifications

Required:

Must have 10+ years of experience
Master's degree (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering is preferred)
Ability to obtain and maintain desired security clearance levels.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Ability to travel up to 25% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
