What you will enjoy doing*

In this role you will lead global civil, structural, and architectural engineering discipline efforts in the preparation of deliverables in collaboration with Linde Engineering team and external parties to create procurement, fabrication, construction packages including engineering analysis, calculations, and specifications
You will perform and manage engineering analysis and calculations for civil and structural designs for industrial structures (base plates, foundation anchor bolts, columns, stacks, ducts, heat exchanger and vessel support design, modular construction considering dead, wind, live, seismic loads
In addition you will coordinate with design team to prepare optimized design concept for foundations, equipment structures, and buildings for new facilities and revamps of existing facilities
Generate design sketches for feasibility studies and estimates quantities of civil and structural materials
Further you will estimate engineering hours for both internal resources and third party engineering, as well to develop engineering criteria or basis of design documents based on current codes and standards
Prepare specifications and compile bid packages and coordinate with procurement and construction from initial quotation to order execution for foundations, steel structures, buildings, HVAC, and other civil, structural, or architectural related components such as geotechnical investigations, geophysical surveys, ground penetrating radar, site preparation, architectural building fabrication including HVAC, and construction packages
Participate in 30%, 60%, 90%, and constructability design reviews is required in this role
You will review vendor and shop drawings for civil, structural, and architectural materials (site preparation, piling, civil, steel structures, buildings, & HVAC)

What makes you great

You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and breadth and depth knowledge in Civil and Structural Engineering and working knowledge of other fields
More than eight years experience in LNG, Natural Gas, Refining, Petrochemicals, Chemicals, or Industrial Gas Industry as well as an understanding of codes and regulations pertaining to facility design and engineering are required, as well as more than five years in an engineering discipline lead or project engineering role
You are a professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) with progress towards PE LicensePositive attitude with ability to adapt work schedule to accommodate project specific needs
Detailed understanding of Civil, Structural, and Architectural Engineering disciplines is required
Detail oriented self-starter with ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams in a diverse Global
Further you have effective analytical and problem-solving skills
