Director of Operations Overview: PlanITROI Is seeking a Director of Operations that will be responsible for building, growing, and leading a team of "A" players to scale our Operation's department. You will continue developing the process, strategy, and roadmap to meet and exceed SLA’s and production requirements while reducing costs by improving efficiencies. The Operations environment consists of managing Receiving, Production, Repair, CKB, Parts, Finished Goods, E-Commerce, Logistics, and Customer Service. The Director of Operations will need to be a proactive team player. We are seeking an experienced Director of Operations who is skilled at running day-to-day operational functions in remanufacturing of hardware products, AIO, Chromebooks, Notebooks, PC, Servers, Smart Phones, Tablets, Workstations, and or Consumer Electronics. This is a “hands-on” management opportunity in a fast-paced environment and will report to our Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities:

Provide daily guidance on the Production floor for all employees interacting with supply, production, inventory, and processes.

Become a subject matter expert in our QEHS Management System, ensure the operations are run in compliance with RIOS, R2V3, and OSHA standards, and lead the team through certification audits.

Manage third-party service providers in testing, wiping, and imaging software - maintaining top technology and efficiency.

Manage and track inventory backlog to achieve all internal and client processing SLA’s.

Identify and track Operations statistics and metrics which verify continual improvement in quality and efficiency.

Ensure timely reporting to all internal departments on agreed-upon statistics, units received, production repair, untested aged, aged, waiting parts, etc., as well as any additional agreed-upon reports or those requested by management or corporate clients.

Development and ongoing management of the Non-SN & SN Inventory -warehouse functions.

Assist Inventory Control and Production areas with their daily needs, questions, and issues, as they arise.

Create and maintain physical areas for inventory storage, placement, and staging. Organize areas, make space for incoming products/ combine products.

Ensure all product is in the correct location and guidelines are followed.

Communicate with the Sales and eCommerce teams to build products to the correct specifications.

Forecast required parts required to refurbish inbound products based on data history.

Manage Quality Control team to ensure the quality of finished goods meets company standards.

Manage Repair- failed units from Production/QC.

Perform Kaizen Events and maintain 5S.

Requirements & Experience:

Degree in Engineering or Production Management experience within Remanufacturing/Computer Hardware/IT Services needed.

Experience building & leading a Production team of “A” Players in refurbishing computers & consumer electronics.

Experience in managing third-party service providers in testing, data wiping, and imaging software.

Experience in computer hardware, consumer electronics & data security.

Logistics experience including “Pick & Pack” & Shipping (eCommerce is a plus)

The ability to delegate within control limits and measure results.

Proactive, problem solver and strategic thinker with outstanding written & oral communication skills.

Black Belt Six Sigma/ Lean Manufacturing Certification & Training.

Experience with Server & Network Infrastructure/Troubleshooting.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel & Outlook.

Bilingual is a plus.
