IES Residential is seeking electrical Service Tech in the Austin, Tx area. IES Residential is one of the nation's largest contracting companies. As we continue to grow and expand our services we are looking for hard working electrician who want to be apart of a winning team. If you are an experience electrician, new electrician or someone who wishes to learn electrical, we may have an opportunity for you. We will train those with a great attitude and desire to learn.
Pay: depends on license and experience
Responsibilities depend on position but may include:

Use problem solving skills to troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning electrical systems and equipment
Complete house rough in to include measuring, cutting, and pulling wire
Install plugs, lights, and other fixtures
Read and understand blueprints, schematics, manuals and specific work site directions
Provides excellent customer service ensuring client expectations are met
Reports progress and problems to management regularly and provides creative solutions
Maintains knowledge of and complies with company safety rules and procedures
Quickly corrects any potential hazard or promptly reports the hazard to the responsible person
Communicate with others, including taking direction from a supervisor and able to give direction in a way that is understood
Possess and maintain personal electrical hand tools

Qualification:

Must have a valid driver's license
Experience in Residential New Construction preferred
Electrical License: Apprentice, Wireman, Journeyman preferred
Must be able to pass and comply with all safety training, background check and drug testing requirements
Ability to bend, crouch, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, and work on ladders and scaffolds
