What you will enjoy doing*

You will develop and execute commissioning resource strategy, cost estimates, and schedules in support of commissioning planning
Participate in the review of P&ID’s, electrical drawings, and control strategies in view of commissioning, start-up, and operation of process plants
Additionally, you will develop project commissioning plan, sequencer, and commissioning books to include procedures, guidelines, and best practices
Coordinate field activities for sites in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up support phases including tracking and coordinating hand over of systems from construction to commissioning and commissioning to operations
Further, you will interface with project managers and third parties to schedule internal and external resources needed for commissioning
You will lead pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of electrical, controls, utility, process, mechanical, and analytical equipment leading to a safe and stable operation of process plant, as well as ensure relevant procedure checklists are completed
Lead troubleshooting efforts in support of field activities, interfacing with commissioning managers, construction and engineering to resolve issues encountered
Develop and execute commissioning safety plan to prevent hazardous conditions for personnel and equipment
You will also lead and participate in the commissioning lessons learned meetings and provide feedback on quality issues
Prepare deliverables and participate in EPC Gates Commissioning and Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews
Update a scheduling/completions tool to communicate progress and forecast with internal and external project personnel
You will track hours and budget by resource to determine actual costs spent versus planned

What makes you great

You have a 4-year B.S. Engineering degree
You have 5 years+ Commissioning or operational experience in hydrogen solutions, air separation, carbon capture, adsorption, gas processing, deep cryogenics, liquefied natural gas (LNG) and fired process equipment or other relevant large industrial plants
Strong leadership, written and verbal communication, organization and planning, and a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
Domestic and International travel up to 80% of the time to support commissioning project tasks will be possible for this role
