Lead Control Systems Designer

What you will enjoy doing*
You will develop Process and Instrumentation Diagrams, Schematic Wiring Diagrams and Control Panel design/fabrication drawings per company standards and electrical codes
In this role you will develop instrument panel layouts for I/O, field instrumentation and analyzers, as well to specify various pneumatic, electrical and analytical instrumentation
Further you will prepare documentation of Bills of Materials reports and instrument equipment lists
You will review and check project specific drawings and data sheets, and support the critical drawing programs for Linde Gases
Additionally you will interface with internal and external customers and suppliers, and work with field teams on installations, issue identifications, analysis and repairs
You will collaborate with other project team members
What makes you great
You have AAS Degree or equivalent degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience and working knowledge of AutoCad is required
Demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritize work with minimal direction
You have excellent writing skills and interpersonal skills and the ability to meet schedule deadlines
In this role you must communicate effectively
Further you have knowledge of chemical plant operations and direct customer interface experience
Knowledge of internal design guidelines and engineering standards including legacy Praxair standards is required, as well as working knowledge of industrial codes, standards and practices
