SOLAR EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED.
*Learn the sustainable industry from inspection to installation.*
Communicate & close projects with the permitting office.
Liaison between install teams and homeowners.
Assisting recruiting installers for rural areas.
Communicating with permitting offices on behalf of PMs.
Assist with any hiring process for inspectors or any direct/indirect work for GHS.
Possess the ability to move around and handle multiple projects at a time.

We are currently searching for an enthusiastic, hands-on Project Manager Trainee. The PM Trainee will be hands-on in all stages of the solar system installation from start to finish. Green Home Systems is a highly collaborative environment, candidates must also possess excellent communication skills as well as a team-centered mentality. This position will be on-site at our Northridge, CA headquarters.
A day in the Project Management department looks like this:
Liaison between the sales team, installation team, local permit offices, distributors, and customers in order to install a quality solar system.
Coordinate and schedule any site visits with homeowners and installers
Work with designers/engineers to create construction plans for residential solar systems
Create project budgets and effectively forecast and track any deviations from budgets
Work with local building departments/permit offices in order to attain project permits
Coordinate materials shipments
The Project Manager Trainee will be able to manage a multitude of different phases of the installation, and easily transition from one task to another.
