What you will enjoy doing*
You will direct all project phases – engineering (basic and detailed), procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning/start-up, as well to maintain a strategic focus for the project with frequent interaction with the business area and the client to ensure a balance between the immediate project needs and the long term goals of the company
In this role you will manage the execution of the projects ranging from $0.5MM to $30MM that are affiliated with our Linde Gases U.S. division and other third-party customers
Our projects are primarily located within operating facilities or brownfield locations
Utilize project management methodologies, systems and tools as defined will be part of your role as well to comply with Company’s rules and policies and follows professional practice
Also, you will lead Project Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction among the functional representatives
Track project against its schedule, budget and against phase gate review objectives, reporting status to management and customer on a regular basis, and executive staff on an as needed basis
Additionally, you will develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated occurrences
Maintain awareness of safety and environmental requirements
What makes you great
You have a BS/BA or equivalent combination of education and experience preferably minimum of 10 years industrial related project management experience, preferable in an EPC environment
Industrial gas and/or cryogenic experience preferred
Further, you have a broad understanding of each engineering discipline, as well as effective management and leadership skills
You do have knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and other company and discipline specific software applications
Also, you possess good communication skills both verbally and in writing with management, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
Experience working with Management of Change (MOC) documents, issuing safe work permits, developing project safety plans, and contract administration
Additionally, you have the ability to travel up to 25% of the time
PMP Certification preferred
