What you will enjoy doing*
In this role, you will direct all project phases – engineering (basic and detailed), procurement, fabrication, construction and commissioning/start-up, as well to maintain a strategic focus for the project with frequent interaction with the business area and the client to ensure a balance between the immediate project needs and the long term goals of the company
You will manage the execution of the projects ranging from $0.5MM to $5MM that are affiliated with our Linde Gases U.S. division and other third-party customers
Our projects are primarily located within operating facilities or brownfield locations
Utilize project management methodologies, systems and tools as defined will be part of your role as well to comply with Company’s rules and policies and follows professional practice
In addition, you will lead Project Teams and facilitate the communication and interaction among the functional representatives
Track project against its schedule, budget and against phase gate review objectives, reporting status to management and customer on a regular basis, and executive staff on an as needed basis
Also, you will develop and implement recovery plans for off-schedule and unanticipated occurrences
Maintain awareness of safety and environmental requirements, as well as to assist Senior Project Managers
What makes you great
You have either a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Arts degree
At least one year of experience in an EPC environment, preferred
Further, you have a broad understanding of each engineering discipline, as well as effective management and leadership skills
You have knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, and other company and discipline specific software applications
You possess good communication skills both verbally and in writing with management, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
A CAPM/PMP certification is preferred
You preferably have experience with industrial gases and/or cryogens
Experience working with Management of Change (MOC) documents, issuing safe work permits, developing project safety plans, and contract administration preferred
