What you will enjoy doing*
Engage in inside sales activities and close collaboration with customers to determine their needs and develop plans to support them
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer-generated reports
In addition, you will conduct procurement activities such as submitting supplier inquiries, evaluating supplier quotes, and placing purchase orders
Collaborate closely with other supporting departments, including procurement, logistics, contracts management, finance, and accounting
Ruther you will generate proposals, including cost analysis, profit calculations, and price proposals for customers
Also, you will collaborate with administrative and financial functions to oversee customer invoicing and payment
Be responsible for multiple overlapping projects and schedules with short durations and critical deadlines
You will partner with global aftermarket sales teams during international business opportunities
Develop and maintain close working relationships with regular customers to promote long term sales growth
What makes you great
You have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and you are able to read and extract information from technical drawing
Also, you are interested in gaining sales experience, including pricing, profit calculations, proposal generation
A demonstrated ability to self-manage and prioritize work with minimal direction
Excellent writing skills and interpersonal skills suit your profile
You have the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively
In addition, you have three (3) years’ experience in piping and pressure vessel design is a plus
Knowledge of and experience with SAP is a plus, as well as knowledge of and experience with Salesforce
