Description
Responsibilities:
Ensuring the highest quality installation and service of all solar components daily
Working with team members to install roof top and ground level solar electrical equipment daily
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Arrive at job site at scheduled time
Provide outstanding customer service throughout the installation process
Document completed work and job status by uploading photos to company database
Climbing ladders and working at elevated heights of two or more stories and lifting 50+ lbs
Operating power tools, saws, drills, ladder lifts and light duty equipment
Knowledge and comfort with OSHA safety standards and f ollowing job site safety requirements and PPE protocol at all times
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
One - Two years of solar installation experience preferred but candidates with general construction experience will be considered.
Must be highly motivated
Successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
Personal means of reliable transportation to and from every job site, whenever company vehicle is not issued.
Ability to read and interpret single line drawings.
Excellent customer service skills including verbal and written communications.
Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state where the work is to be performed.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Skills, Licenses & Certifications:
Working knowledge of low/high voltage
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
OSHA 30 Certification preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to make multiple trips up and down a ladder daily
Ability to lift, squat, deadlift, pull and carry up to 50 lbs. daily
Ability to work at the ground level, kneeling, or bending daily
Ability to kneel and stand repeatedly (lunges), on a daily basis
Comfortable in tight spaces (attic, crawlspaces, etc)
Must be able to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces which requires frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing, and balance
Visual acuity to drive motor vehicles/mobile equipment/read printed and electronic documents
Hearing capacity to receive, perceive, and react to common driving/construction environment noises
Salary:
$20 pr/hr - $24 pr/hr hourly rate plus OT as needed
The pay range provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and in the geographical location noted.
