Description
Green Day Power is seeking detail-oriented, Residential Solar Installers to join their Field Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, installing Solar Systems on rooftops or other structures in a timely manner while utilizing the best installation and safety practices. Job Duties/ Responsibilities
Assemble all components of a residential solar system
Prepping layout & following plan details
Structurally mount racking and electrical equipment and effectively seal penetrations
Maintain a clean work site and safe working environment
Properly use Personal Protective Equipment & utilize safety practices at all times
Ensure job sites are left clean
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Requirements
1+ years of residential solar experience and/or HVAC, Roofing, or related fields
Must have electrical and roof racking experience
Attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance
Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment
Must have a valid state driver's license and a clean driving record
Physical Demands
Use their hands and fingers to grasp, handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm
Must be able to work on your feet for long periods of time including walking and running
Full ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, bend, stretch, twist, or reach out

Move two or more limbs together (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while remaining in place
Use stomach and lower back muscles to support the body for long periods without getting tired

Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold, rain, crawl spaces, etc.)
Able to work safely with heights on ladders, stairs, poles or on rooftops and in confined areas
Able to lift (50 lbs or more), pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks
Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects
See details of objects that are less than a few feet away to determine the distance between objects
See differences between colors, shades, and brightness
While looking forward, see objects or movements that are off to the side
Make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls using hands, fingers, or feet
Understand the speech of another person
