Primary Services in partnership with a TOP SOLAR ENERGY COMPANY is currently searching for a Project Specialist I to be responsible for the completion and management of all documents required to permit, interconnect, and receive permission to operate (PTO) for a solar energy system project. This individual will also be a point of contact for our participating dealer network.

Responsibilities:

The specialist will be responsible for completing and submitting permit, interconnection, and PTO applications for the projects completed by Expert Services and the participants of Expert Services’ offerings.
Contacting cities, counties, and townships to identify the cost and requirements for the jurisdiction’s permit application process.
Contacting utilities to identify the cost, process, and requirements for receiving permission to operate (PTO) for a solar system.
Address incoming inquiries in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
Follow up on inquiries about project status in a timely, efficient, and professional manner.
Update notes through an internal CRM and spreadsheets for all related tasks and manage project status changes.
Collaborate with homeowners, installers, and third-party vendors to ensure all applications and required documents are properly filled and submitted to state and local municipal entities.
Keep abreast of any changes to permit requirements from AHJs and utilities to ensure compliance.
The position requires cross functional communication with engineering, in-service and the internal project leads.

Qualifications:

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
Bachelor's Degree
Experience: 2+ years Solar (Preferred)
Skills: Project Management, Excel, Word, CRM Experience Preferred, Salesforce, Excellent Communication
