What you will enjoy doing*

You will ensure project compliance with respective client specifications and governing codes, as well as provide definition of Structural scope of supply on any given project
In this role you will be in charge of the developments of Structural specifications (customize / company Standard) and perform Structural analysis calculations, produce sketches to incorporate in drawings by Designers, and review design and shop drawings
Additionally, you will coordinate with all disciplines related to the Structural engineering effort.
You will assume the lead engineer’s role on assigned projects is required
Also, you will interface with Materials Controls system, to ensure commodity purchase and participate in design reviews
Further, you will develop / maintain standard specification sheets for engineered items

What makes you great

You have a BS in Civil/Structural Engineering, Structural PE required (or ability to achieve within 3 years) and 5 to 10 years of related experience
Working knowledge of performing structural design and analysis calculations using computer-aided and / or manual design techniques including, but not limited to: base plates, foundation anchor bolts, columns, platforms, ducts, stacks, heater shell, pipe racks, bolted and welded connections, piping and equipment support steel, wind, seismic, dead and live loads is of advantage
Further you have working knowledge of national and international codes, governing regulations and industry standards, etc. (e.g. IBC, ASCE, AISC, API, OSHA, PIP)
Effective computer skills; and working knowledge of software including Microsoft Office, STAAD Pro, Smart Plant Review, AutoCAD or equivalent software is required for this role
As well as effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company suits your profile
You are an effective analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to be a team-player
Demonstrate honesty, integrity, and professionalism in all communications, actions and decisions is of advantage
